Speech & Language Therapy in Whitefield, Bangalore

Helping children find their voice. Our certified speech-language team builds clear speech, strong language and confident communication through play-based, family-centred therapy.

About the therapy

What is speech & language therapy?

Speech and language therapy helps children understand language, express themselves, produce clear sounds and communicate with others. It also supports the skills behind communication, such as listening, attention, turn-taking and, where needed, feeding and swallowing.

Every child communicates differently. We begin by understanding your child’s strengths, then plan therapy around their goals, interests and everyday life, so progress shows up at home, in school and with friends.

FAQs

Questions parents often ask

At what age should my child see a speech therapist?
There is no age too early. If you have a concern, whether your child is a toddler who is not yet talking or a school-age child with unclear speech or language difficulty, an assessment can show whether therapy would help.
How do I know if my child needs speech therapy?
Look at whether your child understands what is said, uses words and gestures to get their needs across, and is understood by others. If something feels different from other children of the same age, an assessment gives you a clear answer.
What happens in the first assessment?
Our therapist talks with you about your concerns and your child’s history, then observes your child in play and communication. You leave with a clear understanding of your child’s needs and the recommended next steps.
How long does therapy take, and how often are the sessions?
It depends on your child’s needs, goals and how consistently sessions and home practice happen. Your therapist will suggest a plan after the assessment and review progress regularly with you.
Do parents need to be involved?
Yes. Parents are partners in therapy. We share simple home activities and guidance so learning carries on in everyday routines.
